Fresno State finds enough offense and benefits from 5 turnovers by Colorado. The Bulldogs are outgained 412-to-287 but get a TD pass and TD run from David Carr to pull off the upset.

Carr and Paris Gaines both score on 1-yard runs to give the Bulldogs an early 14-0 lead, and Carr answers a 77-yard punt return for a TD by Roman Hollowell, with a 21-yard TD pass to Marque Davis to reain a 21-7 lead. Colorado pulls within 24-22 on Craig Ochs' 16-yard TD pass to John Minardi w/ 7:51 to play, but the 2-point conversion fails and the Fresno State defense makes the margin stand up.
