Down 27-13, Hawaii dominates the 4th quarter, overtaking Fresno State twice, the final time when Nick Rolovich hits Ashley Lelie with a 14-yard TD pass w/ :13 left. Rolovich throws for 347 yards and 3 TDs, with Lelie catching 9 passes for 122 yards and 3 TDs.

The Bulldogs had regained the lead when David Carr hits Rodney Wright for a 35-yard TD pass on the ensuing possession. The Warriors had scored 18 straight to claim a 31-27 lead on Rolovich's 11-yard TD pass to Lelie w/ 5:50 left. Carr throws for 400 yards and 4 TDs as Fresno State drops its 2nd straight after a 6-0 start.
