Ladell Betts rushes for 99 yards, leading the way as Iowa outgains Kent State 567 yards to 203, while running for 331 yards. Aaron Greving is perfect on the day, scoring on all 3 of his carries.

Jeremy Allen's 14-yard TD run in the 1st quarter gets the Hawkeyes started, and Greving adds a 14-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter as Iowa builds a 23-0 lead at halftime. Greving then scores on his 2nd and 3rd carries of the game, first from 1 yard out and then 26 yards giving the Hawkeyes a 37-0 lead.
