#25 Thundering Herd completes a miraculous comeback in a 64-61 2 OT marathon with the Pirates.

Down 38-8 at the half, Marshall storms back to tie the game in the final minute before winning on Byron Leftwich's 8-yard TD pass to Josh Davis in the 2nd OT. Leftwich throws goes 41-of-70 for 576 yards and 4 TDs. East Carolina answers with Leonard Henry's 195 yards rushing and 3 TDs.

The Pirates start a big night of twists and turns by returning a pair of turnovers for TDs, taking a 14-0 lead before their offense takes the field. Marshall starts its big comeback with a defensive TD in the opening minutes of the 2nd half. Trailing 51-42 late in the 4th quarter, the Herd get a FG and an 80-yard scoring drive in the final minute, capped by Leftwich's 11-yard TD pass to Darius Watts to tie it 51-51, but a potential winning PAT goes awry sending the game to OT.
