Game Notes

Cadets put away the Midshipmen 26-17.

Army jumps out to a 23-3 and withstands a 2nd half resurgence by Navy to keep the Middies winless on the season. Omari Thompson's 96-yard return of the 2nd half kickoff turns out to be the back breaker after the momentum for a 13-0 1st quarter fades. Navy recovers and draws closer, but never threatens the Cadets' lead.

Ardell Daniels establishes Army's control from the start with a 60-yard TD run on the opening series. Daniels rushes for 131 yards to lead the Cadets. Chad Jenkins stretches the lead to 13-0 with a 42-yard TD pass to Brian Bruenton w/ 7:10 left in the 1st quarter.
