#6 Longhorns overpower the Aggies 41-7.

Texas stretches out to a 24-0 lead in the 1st half and is never challenged by New Mexico State. Chris Simms tosses a pair of TDs to Montrell Flowers, and Cedric Benson caps the rout with a TD run in his debut game.

The Longhorns jump on the Aggies quickly, scoring when Roderick Babers blocks their 1st punt and Phillip Geigger recovers it in the end zone for a TD. Ivan Williams adds a 4-yard TD run and Simms hits Flowers with a 9-yard TD pass to open a 24-0 lead.
