Josh Fields hits a leaping Rashaun Woods with a 14-yard TD w/ 1:36 left to lift Oklahoma State in front of its much favored rival, knocking Oklahoma from the Big XII and national title picture. Fields throws for 251 yards, finding Woods 8 times for 129 yards.

The Sooners went in front first on Quentin Griffin's 8-yard TD run, and stay ahead throughout as Oklahoma State settles for FGs by Luke Phillips, including a pair of 52-yarders, the last cutting the Sooners' edge to 13-9 midway through the 4th quarter. After a defensive stop, the Cowboys capitalize on a final chance with just over 3 minutes left, driving for the winning score.
