Oregon avoids the upset when Chris Griffith's 50-yard FG attempt on the final play misses short and wide. Joey Harrington's 1-yard TD pass to Josh Line w/ 9:56 to play puts the Ducks ahead of UCLA. Harrington also adds a running TD in the 1st half.

Maurice Morris rushes for 129 yards and a TD, but the Bruins rally to erase a 14-7 deficit on a pair of FGs by Griffith and Manuel White, Jr.'s 1-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter. Cory Paus throws for 321 yards for UCLA, but also suffers 2 INTs.
