Nittany Lions rally to upend the #22 Wildcats 38-35.

Penn State gets its 1st win after an 0-4 start when backup Zach Mills hits Eric McCoo for a 4-yard TD pass w/ :22 left after Northwestern had taken a 35-31 lead with just 2:03 to play. Mills replaced starter Matt Senneca, who was injured during the winning drive, and led the rest of the way as Joe Paterno ties Bear Bryant with 323 victories.

Senneca and Mills were a combined 25-of-47 for 288 yards and 2 TDs after the Lions had struggled offensively through the 1st 4 games. Senneca also added 2 TD runs. The Wildcats' Zak Kustok finishes 23-of-40 for 298 yards and 1 TD pass to go with 3 TD runs.
