Bulldogs prevail over the Owls 41-38 in OT after a massive collapse.

Louisiana Tech wins it on Josh Scobee's 20-yard FG in OT after allowing Rice to erase a 31-0 deficit. Down 31-3 at halftime, the Owls score 21 straight to start the 2nd half, and then score the final 14 to force OT on Kyle Herm's 23-yard TD pass to Gavin Boothe late in the 4th quarter, but a chance to win it in regulation dies when the Bulldogs block a last second FG attempt.

Herm throws for 267 yards and 2 TDs, and rushes for 71 yards, leading Rice's rally. Louisiana Tech gets its big lead on the strength of Josh McCown's arm. McCown throws for 384 yards and 2 TDs, and runs for another TD.
