Game Notes

Horned Frogs run over the Cougars 34-17.

Corey Connally rushes for 199 yards and an 80-yard TD run that breaks the game open for Texas Christian. After TCU's Joe Hill pounces on a Houston fumble for a TD early in the 2nd quarter, Connally ups the lead to 23-7 with his 80-yard TD run late in the 1st half.

Kelly Robertson draws the Cougars within 23-17 in the 3rd quarter with a 20-yard TD pass to Chris Robertson. But the Frogs answer with a 2-yard TD run by LaTarance Dunbar and a 2-point conversion to squelch Houston's rally.
