John Anderson hits a 32-yard FG on the final play to lift Washington to the win after a wild finish. Anderson earlier hit a tying FG before Taylor Barton's 14-yard TD pass to Willie Hurst late in the 4th quarter to give the Huskies a 24-17 lead over Southern Cal.

However, the lead would not last as Kareem Kelly comes down with a pass from Carson Palmer in traffic and sprints the rest of the way for a 58-yard TD pass to tie it to set the stage for Washington's winning drive. Barton, who steps in when Cody Pickett is injured, hits 11-of-20 passes for 197 yards and 2 TDs, with Reggie Williams catching 5 passes for 101 yards and 1 TD.
