Notre Dame gets a pair of TD runs by Tony Fisher after West Virginia scores 14 straight to take a 24-17 lead in the 3rd quarter. Fisher scores first on a 25-yard run and then adds a 55-yarder after the Irish had taken a 27-24 lead.

Fisher finishes with 119 yards rushing, while Carlyle Holiday runs for 130 yards. Julius Jones adds 92 yards and a TD.
