Alabama rushes for 300 yards while bringing LSU back to Earth following the Tigers' Bluegrass Miracle. Shaud Williams rushes for 131 yards and Santonio Beard adds 109 yards and 2 TDs for the Tide.

Beard ends a scoreless tie with a 6-yard TD run late in the 1st half, and Tyler Watts adds a 2-yard TD run in the final minute before halftime. Beard's 22-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter breaks the game open. Without injured Matt Mauck at QB, LSU struggles, managing less than 200 total yards.
