Carson Palmer puts his Heisman Trophy drive in gear with 2 TD passes and 1 TD run to lead USC. Palmer throws for 214 yards and Justin Fargas balances the attack with 125 yards and 1 TD on the ground.

Palmer jump starts the Trojans with a 18-yard TD pass to Mike Williams and adds a 2-yarder to Alex Holmes, which coupled with a pair of FGs by Ryan Killeen equal a 20-3 edge over Arizona State before halftime. Fargas and Palmer add their TD runs in the 4th quarter to finish off the Sun Devils.
