Craig Candeto rushes for 103 yards and a school-record 6 TDs, and adds a 23-yard TD pass to Tony Lane as Navy routs Army at the Meadowlands. The Middies outgain the Cadets 508-to-141.

Army answers a pair of 1-yard TD runs by Candeto with a pair of FGs, but then Candeto scores 3 straight TDs, including a 42-yarder for a 35-6 lead. After recording a safety, Navy then gets a TD pass and TD run by Candeto before he heads to the sidelines with the game in hand.
