Bears stun mistake-prone #15 Spartans 46-22.

Kyle Boller throws for 2 TDs, runs for 1 TD and catches another as Cal roll past Michigan State, which commits 5 turnovers in the weak effort. Jemell Powell returns a punt 90 yards for a TD, and then Cal records a safety en route to a 25-0 halftime lead.

Mark Jensen adds 3 FGs in the 2nd quarter and Boller catches a 12-yard TD pass from receiver LaShaun Ward. Boller does it the conventional way after the Spartans pull within 25-14 in the 3rd quarter, scoring on a 2-yard run and hitting Joe Igber with a 23-yard TD pass and then finding Ward for a 54-yarder.

Boller throws for 232 yards and Igber rushes for 108 yards.
