Gino Guidugli, Bearcats light up the Pirates for 42-26 win.

Cincinnati earns a share of the Conference USA championship with an outburst of big plays for its passing game. Guidugli throws for 323 yards and 4 TDs, with Jon Olinger catching 4 passes for 194 yars, with 3 resulting in TDs of 78, 49 and 48 yards.

East Carolina is able to weather the storm of big plays to close within 28-26 in the 2nd half, but Guidugli then hooks up with George Murray for a 26-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter and Zach Norton returns a pick 30 yards for a TD.

Guidugli and Olinger get help from DeMarco McCleskey, who rushes for 161 yards. The Pirates answer with an unorthodox response, as converted linebacker Christshawn Gilliam rushes for 158 yards and 2 TDs.
