Cincinnati holds Louisville to just 176 yards offense, while forcing 2 turnovers, and limiting Dave Ragone to just 91 yards passing, 13 in the 2nd half. The Bearcats use their defense to turn the game around, when Antwan Peek picks up a fumble and returns it 15 yards to tie the game 7-7.

The Cardinals answer with a 92-yard KO return by Broderick Clark, but Cincinnati allows Louisville no offense during the 2nd half. DeMarco McCleskey rushes for 82 yards and 2 TDs, tying the game with a 1-yarder in the 3rd quarter and giving the Bearcats the lead with a 1-yarder in the 4th quarter.
