#9 Longhorns can finally celebrate in Dallas after beating the #25 Tigers 35-20.

After 5 straight losses in Dallas, Texas finally prevails as Chris Simms and Roy Williams lead the way after LSU jumps to a 17-7 lead. Simms throws for 269 yards and 2 TDs while Williams catches 4 passes for 142 yards and 1 TD, and adds a 39-yard TD run.

The Tigers are rolling early with only a 46-yard fumble return for a score by Lee Jackson preventing LSU from going up by at least 17. However, Simms hits Williams with a 51-yard TD pass and Cedric Benson adds a 1-yard TD run for a 21-17 lead by halftime. Williams pushes it to 28-17 in the 3rd quarter with a 39-yard TD run.
