Cougars get revenge with a 35-32 win over the Rainbow Warriors.

After Hawaii beats BYU 72-45 in 2001, the Cougars even the score, overcoming a couple 10-point deficits and then holding off a 4th quarter rally by the Warriors.

Marcus Whalen rushes for 141 yards and 2 TDs, Lance Pendleton also adds 2 TD runs for BYU, including the go-ahead score on a 12-yarder in the 3rd quarter. Pendleton adds a 2-yard TD run in the 4th quarter to seal the win, giving the Cougars a 35-24 lead.
