Eli Manning throws for 313 yards and 1 TD as Ole Miss ends Nebraska's run of 40 straight winning seasons. The Cornhuskers finish 7-7 after the Rebels overcome an early 10-0 hole and a 65-yard punt return by DeJuan Groce for a TD and 17-7 lead late in the 1st half.

Ole Miss answers with a late drive for a 1-yard TD run by Toward Stanford, and then it converts a failed fake punt attempt into another 1-yard TD run by Sanford and a 24-20 lead in the 3rd quarter. The Cornhuskers are unable to mount a successful rally against the Rebels' defense.
