Cyclones rally by the Hawkeyes for 36-31 win.

Down 24-7, Iowa State storms back to beat Iowa for the 5th straight time. Seneca Wallace leads a 29-0 run in the 2nd half to lift the Cyclones. Wallace throws for 361 yards and 1 TD and runs for another.

The Hawkeyes jump out front early, riding a 50-yard TD run by Fred Russell on the 1st series. However, Russell misses the 2nd half due to injury after running for 139 yards in the 1st half.
Wallace takes over in the 2nd half. His 5-yard TD run starts the Cyclones' rally, and his 7-yard TD pass to Bob Montgomery cuts Iowa's lead to 24-21. Joe Woodley's 1-yard TD run gives Iowa State the lead and the Cyclones add a safety and 2 FGs to stretch the lead.
