Game Notes
Bruins' returns are too much for the Lobos in a 27-13 win.
UCLA gets TDs on a punt return and an INT return to take a 27-6 lead and coast to the victory. The Bruins go in front on Craig Bragg's 74-yard punt return in the 3rd quarter, and then extend the lead to 20-6 on Jarrad Page's 29-yard INT return early in the 4th quarter.
Tyler Ebell provides the bulk of UCLA's offense with 70 yards and 1 TD, as the Bruins manage just 167 yards on offense. However, New Mexico struggles offensively, failing to reach the end zone until the closing minutes. The Lobos get their 1st TD on a 55-yard INT return by Desmar Black, which sets the stage for Katie Hnida to attempt the PAT, becoming the 1st female to participate in a Div. 1 game.
