Louisville outgains Army 446 yards to 140, and gets a pair of special teams touchdowns within 90 seconds to break the game open in the 2nd quarter. Dave Ragone throws for 240 yards.

However, its a pair of special teams plays that KO the Cadets. Leading 10-0 in the 2nd quarter, the Cardinals get a 90-yard punt return for a TD by Damien Dorsey, and then Joshua Tinch recovers a blocked punt in the end zone following the ensuing possession giving Louisville a 24-0 lead.
