Thundering Herd strikes last in the shootout to beat the Rockets 49-45.

Byron Leftwich throws for 404 yards and 4 TDs, including the game-winner, a 40-yard strike to Darius Watts w/ :40 left. Toledo had gone ahead 45-42 on Brian Jones' 1-yard TD run w/ 3:35 remaining.

Marshall sprinted out to a 28-10 lead before Toledo starts a big rally in the 2nd quarter. Astin Martin scores on a 1-yard TD run and then Trinity Dawson adds 2 of his 4 TD runs to give the Rockets a 32-28 lead. Dawson rushes for 130 yards while Martin adds 75 yards.

Watts and Denario Marriott each catch a pair of TDs for the Herd.
