#1 Hurricanes wake up in the 4th to put away the Scarlet Knights 42-17.

Down 17-14 starting the 4th quarter, Miami blitzes Rutgers with 3 quick TDs to end the Knights' upset hopes. Ken Dorsey's 20-yard TD pass to Andre Johnson to start the 4th quarter puts the Hurricanes in front.

Then Miami converts INTs on the next 2 possessions into a 1-yard TD toss from Dorsey to Kellen Winslow on 4th-and-goal and a 4-yard TD run by Willis McGahee for a 35-17 lead. McGahee rushes for 187 yards and 2 TDs.

Rutgers had gone ahead in the 2nd quarter with a FG and then scoring on a blocked punt for a 17-8 lead. However, McGahee's 2-yard TD run just before halftime negates the momentum before a scoreless 3rd quarter.
