#1 Hurricanes turn dominant in a 26-3 rout of the Volunteers.

Miami gives up 74 yards on the 2nd play of the game, and just 144 yards from then on, holding Tennessee to a FG after the big play, and scoreless the rest of the way. Meanwhile, Ken Dorsey throws for 245 yards and 1 TD, and Willis McGahee rushes for 154 yards and 1 TD.

The Hurricanes' main shortcoming is stalled drives. After 2 FGs by Todd Sievers, McGahee finds the end zone on a 1-yard run for a 13-3 lead. Sievers adds 2 more FGs before Dorsey hits Kellen Winslow Jr. with a 11-yard TD pass in the 3rd quarter.
