Maryland's offense does nothing except for 3-4 plays all game, and that's all that matters as N.C. State is unable to hold a 21-7 lead. Nick Novak hits a 27-yard FG w/ :34 left to win it after the Wolfpack gambles on 4th down and gives the ball to the Terps in good field position.

Phillip Rivers throws for 297 yards and 1 TD, and runs for another, with Jerricho Cotchery catching 12 passes for 144 yards and 1 TD. Meanwhile, Scott McBrien is a total void at QB for Maryland, except has one prayer answered setting up 1 score while running for a 21-yard TD. Scott Suter scores on a 64-yard end around. The 3 plays account for almost all the offense by Maryland.
