Iowa rolls to an easy win as Brad Banks is perfect and Northwestern is far from it. The Wildcats turn it over 3 times helping the Hawkeyes' cause, while Banks completes all 10 passes for 197 yards and 3 TDs to go with 5 runs for 54 yards and 2 more TDs.

Iowa goes up 14-0 on Banks' 40-yard TD pass to Maurice Brown. After Northwestern answers, Banks and Iowa step on the gas, with Banks scoring on a 9-yard run before hitting Brown with a 65-yard TD pass. Banks adds a 19-yard TD run giving Iowa a 35-10 halftime lead. The 2nd half is more of the same as Ed Hinkel returns an INT 58 yards for a TD and Banks caps his day with a 28-yard TD pass to Dallas Clark.
