Eli Manning throws for 374 yards and 3 TDs, but Texas Tech prevails as Kliff Kingsbury counters with 270 yard and 2 TDs and 1 TD run, and the Red Raiders' defense returns a Manning INT for a score. Adell Duckett returns a pick 23 yards for a TD and Kingsbury's 2-yard TD run following a botched punt snap on the ensuing possession opens a 28-7 lead over Ole Miss.

After the Rebels cut into the lead, Wes Welker answers with a 72-yard punt return for a TD. Manning rallies Ole Miss within 35-28 with 2 TD passes but Kingsbury finishes off the win for Texas Tech, hitting Nehemiah Glover with a 3-yard TD pass in the 4th quarter.
