#5 Cougars step up in a 32-21 win over the #15 Ducks in a big Pac-10 showdown.

Washington State assumes control of the conference after Jason Gesser tosses 4 TDs and Jermaine Green rushes for 180 yards. Oregon gets an early TD pass from Jason Fife, but its the last offensive score by the Ducks who rely on their defense for the final 2 TDs.

In the meantime, Gesser and Green make up for the Cougars' mistakes. Gesser throws for 277 yards and connects with Mike Bush and Devard Darling on 2 TD passes each. Gesser's 4-yard TD pass midway through the 4th quarter caps a 96-yard drive and gives Washington State a 26-21 lead.
