Chris Brown rushes for 182 yards and 2 TDs for Colorado and Craig Ochs adds a pair of TD passes. San Diego State gets 359 yards passing from Adam Hall, but can't overcome its defensive weaknesses and a critical turnover.

Akarika Dawn returns a fumble 8 yards for the go-ahead score in the 2nd quarter, giving the Buffaloes a 21-14 lead. The Aztecs are unable to keep the game close in the 2nd half as Brown and the running game take over.
