Ground-oriented Wake Forest jumps on Oregon with its passing game as James MacPherson comes out with some early passing, helping the Deacons open a 21-3 lead in the 1st half. Ovie Mughelli scores on a 1-yard run and MacPherson adds a 1-yard TD run after a 57-yard TD pass to Jason Anderson.

MacPherson throws for 241 yards and 2 TDs on just 9 completions. The Ducks draw within 24-17 in the 3rd quarter, but MacPherson connects again with Anderson for a 63-yard TD pass to regain control for Wake Forest. Anderson has 3 catches for 157 yards while Chris Barclay adds 82 yards and 1 TD on the ground.
