Boston College scores the last 21 points, breaking a 20-20 tie to remain alive for bowl eligibility, while killing off Syracuse's bowl hopes. Derrick Knight rushes for a career-high 171 yards and 2 TDs, with a 70-yard TD run to put the game away w/ 3:40 left in the 4th quarter.

The Orangemen tied the game 20-20 on Walter Reyes' 8-yard TD run in the 3rd quarter, but the Eagles answer with a drive for Brian St. Pierre's 7-yard TD pass to Sean Ryan. Boston College then starts the 4th quarter with a long drive for Brandon Brokaw's 2nd 1-yard TD run of the game to open a 34-20 lead.
