Kliff Kingsbury throws for 6 TDs as Texas Tech rallies to end Texas' BCS hopes. The Raiders rally twice in the 4th quarter to win. Kingsbury hits Nememiah Glover with a 16-yard TD pass for a 35-31 lead, but the Longhorns immediately answer with an 84-yard TD strike from Chris Simms to B.J. Johnson.

Texas Tech regains the lead for good when Taurean Henderson takes a screen pass 25 yards for a TD w/ 5:41 to play. Simms goes 24-of-37 for 345 yards and 4 TDs, but suffers 1 costly mistake as Ryan Aycock picks him off late to preseve the win. Kingsbury throws for 473 yards, but it takes 60 attempts pile up the stats that is most important to Tech coaches, the win is just gravy for the Raiders' "genius" coach.

Wes Welker catches 14 passes for 169 yards, while Roy Williams leads the Horns with 8 catches for 117 yards, followed by Johnson's 5 catches for 120 yards.
