Michigan gets a big assist from Washington when a 15-yard penalty for too many players on the field cuts a game-deciding FG attempt from 59 yards to 44 yards and Phillip Brabbs nails it on the final play after the Wolverines missed 3 attempts earlier in the game.

The Huskies had gone ahead 29-28 earlier in the 4th quarter on Rich Alexis' 1-yard TD run. Alexis runs for 98 yards and 2 TDs while Cody Pickett throws for 318 yards and 2 TDs.

Chris Perry and John Navarre lead the Wolverines. Perry rushes for 120 yards and 2 TDs of 57 and 34 yards and Navarre throws for 268 yards and 1 TD.
