Rebels survive in OT with 49-48 win over the Cowboys.

Wyoming sends the game to OT when Casey Bramlet hits Scott Vines with a 36-yard TD pass on the final play of regulation, then runs for a 2-point conversion. The Cowboys then go ahead on Kit Bradshaw's 1-yard TD run on the 1st possession of OT, but the PAT is missed. UNLV then wins it on Jason Thomas' 25-yard TD pass to Steven Costa on the 1st play of its series, followed by a successful PAT conversion.

The Rebels appeared to have the game in hand when Thomas hits DeJhown Mandley for a 5-yard TD pass and 42-28 lead in the 4th quarter. However, Bramlet rallies Wyoming with his 4th and 5th TD passes of the game. Bramlet throws for 420 yards with Vines catching 10 for 237 yards and 2 TDs.

Thomas counters with 329 yards and 2 TD passes, while running for 58 yards and 3 TD runs.
