Brandon Browner picks off 3 passes as Oregon State forces 6 turnovers. The Beavers break the game open with some quick scoring outbursts. Arizona State draws even 7-7 on Andrew Walter's 5-yard TD pass to Skyler Fulton in the 2nd quarter. But Oregon State scores 17 points in the final 4:11 of the 1st half, powered by 2 TD passes by Derek Anderson.

Oregon State extends a 24-10 lead to 38-10 when Steven Jackson scores on a 15-yard TD run and Keller Christensen scores on a blocked punt on the ensuing possession. Anderson throws for 246 yards and 2 TDs, while also committing 3 INTs. James Newson catches 6 passes for 124 yards and 1 TD.
