Bearcats stun the Mountaineers 15-13 in a survival contest of turnovers.

Chet Ervin hits 3 FGs for Cincinnati as both teams turn it over 5 times. Ervin's 37-yard FG late in the 3rd quarter gives the Bearcats a 15-13 lead. West Virginia had gone ahead on the 2nd of 2 TD passes by Rasheed Marshall earlier in the 3rd quarter.

However, Marshall manages to complete just 10-of-30 attempts for 125 yards while suffering 2 INTs. The Mountaineers are also hurt by a missed PAT and 2 missed FGs.
