Bobby Purify scores on a 9-yard run w/ :40 left in regulation to lift Colorado to the victory after Van Pelt scored the tying TD w/ 1:50 remaining on a 30-yard TD run, capping a 14-point comeback in the 4th quarter. Van Pelt accounts for all 5 Colorado State TDs, 3 through the air and 2 on the ground.

Meanwhile, Colorado answers with Joel Klatt, who throws for 402 yards and 4 TDs. Trailing 14-7, Klatt tosses 3 TDs in the 2nd quarter to give the Buffaloes the lead. His 78-yard TD pass to Derek McCoy opens a 35-21 lead in the 3rd quarter.
