#25 Gators rally to escape the Wildcats with a 24-21 win.

Down 21-3 to start the 4th quarter, Florida stages an unlikely rally behind true freshman QB Chris Leak. Leak tosses 2 TDs in the 4th quarter and the Gators score the go-ahead TD on Ran Carthon's 1-yard run after Johnny Lamar picks Jared Lorenzen and returns it to the 1 with less than 4 minutes remaining in the game.

Leak, making his 1st start, goes 20-of-35 for 268 yards and 2 TDs and 2 INTs. His 3-yard TD pass to Chris Perez on the 1st play of the 4th quarter starts the rally, pulling the Gators to within 21-9. He then hits Perez with a 10-yard TD pass on the possession ensuing Lamar's interception of Lorenzen. Perez has 5 catches for 102 yards.
