Vince Young rallies the #13 Longhorns to a 24-20 win over the #16 Wildcats, avoiding a 2nd half meltdown.

Young scores on a 1-yard run with 5:19 left after Kansas State erases a 17-3 halftime deficit to go ahead 20-17 on Ell Roberson's 2-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter. Roberson had scored on a 27-yard run early in the 2nd half to start the Wildcats' rally.

However, Young battles through a sprained ankle to lead Texas' rally. The Longhorns found other manners to build their lead. Tony Jeffrey scores the 1st TD on a blocked punt, and Chance Mock hits Sloan Thomas with a 51-yard TD late in the 1st half. However, its Young, who runs for 80 yards and throws for 69 yards that carries a sputtering Texas offense.
