The Cornhuskers take a 24-14 lead with a pair of TDs in the 3rd quarter. But Smith starts a 4th quarter outburst with a 39-yard TD run. The Tigers take the lead on a 15-yard TD pass from holder Sonny Riccio to Victory Sesay on a fake FG. Smith then adds a pair of TD runs to seal the win.
