After Oklahoma and Texas trade early scores, the Sooners land all the blows afterwards. Jason White throws for 290 yards and 4 TDs. His 5-yard TD pass to J.D. Runnels breaks a 7-7 tie in the 1st quarter. Oklahoma scores 20 straight points, capped by Jonathan Jackson's 21-yard INT return for a score.

White adds a 20-yard TD pass to Will Peoples in the 2nd quarter to open a 34-13 lead sparking a run of 38 unanswered points by the Sooners. Mark Clayton catches 8 passes for 190 yards and 1 TD.
