#2 Buckeyes make a strong statement with a 28-9 win over the #17 Huskies.

Ohio State holds Washington to 7 yards rushing, and gets 203 yards passing and 2 TD runs from Craig Krenzel. The Buckeyes jump out to a 21-0 lead and smother the Huskies.

After Maurice Hall's 2-yard TD run starts Ohio State's scoring, Krenzel adds a 23-yard TD run in the 1st quarter and then an 11-yarder late in the 1st half. The Huskies don't find the end zone until Cody Pickett scores on a 2-yard run w/ less than 4 minutes left in the game.
