Despite a slow start, Alabama wears down Kentucky as Mark Ingram rushes for 140 yards and 2 TDs. Leading just 7-6 late in the 1st half, the TIde breaks the game open in the final minute of the 1st half and start of the 2nd half.

Greg McElroy hits Collin Peek with a 3-yard TD pass, and then Courtney Upshaw returns a fumble 45 yards for a score moments later. Ingram caps the opening possession of the 2nd half with a 32-yard TD run for a 28-6 lead.
