Oklahoma loses Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford with a shoulder injury in the 1st half, then loses the game when Max Hall hits McKay Jacobson with a 7-yard TD pass w/ 3:03 left in the game and then BYU's defense stops the Sooners' final possession.

Hall throws for 329 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Cougars. Bradford hits Ryan Broyles with an 8-yard TD pass to put Oklahoma ahead 7-0 in the 1st quarter. However, everything changes in the 2nd quarter. Bradford goes down with his injury and Hall ties the game with a 5-yard TD pass to Andrew George.

The Sooners regain the lead with a pair of FGs by Jimmy Stevens, but can't hold off BYU's rally.
