Colorado State controls the ball for 38 minutes, outgains UNLV 424-to-321, but the Rebels find a way to win and keep bowl hopes alive. Omar Clayton throws for a TD and runs for another to lead UNLV.

Clayton starts the scoring with a 28-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter and adds a 13-yard TD pass to Jerriman Robinson for a 14-7 lead in the final minute of the 1st half. Mike Clausen's 5-yard TD run early in the 3rd quarter extends the lead, and his 5-yard TD run early in the 4th quarter makes it 28-10.
