Alex Tejada's 37-yard FG in OT wins it for Arkansas after East Carolina misses 2 FGs late in the game, and another in OT. The Pirates' Ben Hartman misses from 45 and 39 yards in regulation while attempting to break the 17-17 tie, and then misses again from 39 yards in OT.

Ryan Mallett throws for 203 yards and a 41-yard TD pass to Jarius Wright that ties it 17-17 in the 3rd quarter. Arkansas gets a 37-yard INT return for a score earlier in the 3rd quarter to tie it 10-10. However, East Carolina immediately answers with Patrick Pinkney's 13-yard TD pass to Dwayne Henry. The Pirates' Dominique Lindsey rushes for 151 yards and 1 TD.
